Questions buyers ask
Pixel 9 Pro or Pixel 9 Pro XL?
Same chip, cameras and RAM. The Pro XL has a 6.8-inch screen instead of 6.3-inch, a 5,060mAh battery instead of 4,700mAh, and faster 37W charging.
Pixel 9 or Pixel 9a?
The Pixel 9 has 12GB of RAM, a 48MP ultra wide and faster charging. The 9a has a bigger 5,100mAh battery and costs less.
How long will the Pixel 9 get updates?
7 years from launch: to August 2031 for the Pixel 9, 9 Pro and 9 Pro XL, and to April 2032 for the Pixel 9a.
Does the Pixel 9 have zoom?
The Pixel 9 Pro and 9 Pro XL have a 48MP 5x telephoto. The Pixel 9 and 9a do not.
Is the Pixel 9a waterproof?
Yes, every Pixel 9 model is rated IP68.
Is it safe to buy a refurbished phone?
Yes, when the seller tests every phone and backs it with a warranty. Every refurbished phone we sell is fully working, unlocked, covered by a warranty of 90 days to 1 year, depending on grade, and returnable within 14 days. See our promise for how we check each one.
What battery health will I get?
At least 80% on every refurbished phone. We measure battery capacity before a phone is listed, and phones below 80% get a new battery first.
Refurbished or new: what is the difference?
A refurbished phone has had a previous owner. It is tested, cleaned and graded on how it looks, and it costs less than new. The grade only describes cosmetic wear. Every grade is fully working.
How much storage do I need?
128GB suits most people. Choose 256GB or more if you shoot a lot of video, play big games or keep your photos on the phone. None of these phones has a microSD slot, so pick your storage up front.
Will it work with my carrier?
Yes. Every phone is unlocked and works with any Canadian carrier. Insert your SIM card or set up an eSIM and keep your current plan.
Want 5x zoom on the base model and Qi2 magnets? See the Pixel 10 series.
Prices in this collection currently run from $469.99 to $1,349.99, depending on model, storage and condition.
