Which Motorola should I buy?
For most people, the Moto G Stylus (2025): built-in stylus, IP68, 68W charging and 256GB. For the best camera, get the Edge (2025). For a flip phone, the Razr+ (2025) is the best balance of price and features.
Which Motorola phones have a microSD slot?
The Moto G Play, Moto G 5G, G Power and G Stylus. The Edge and Razr phones do not.
How long will my Motorola get updates?
The 2025 Moto G phones and Edge get 2 OS upgrades and 3 years of security updates. The 2025 Razr phones get 3 OS upgrades and 4 years. The Moto G Play (2024) gets 1 OS upgrade.
Is the Razr waterproof?
The 2025 Razr, Razr+ and Razr Ultra are rated IP48: water resistant, but only protected against particles larger than 1 mm. Keep them away from sand and fine dust.
Does the Moto G Play have 5G?
No. The Moto G Play (2024) is 4G only. Every other model here has 5G.
Do Motorola phones have wireless charging?
The G Power, G Stylus, Edge and all three Razr phones do. The Moto G Play and Moto G 5G do not.
Razr+ or Razr Ultra?
Both have a 4-inch cover screen and a 165Hz main screen. The Ultra adds the Snapdragon 8 Elite, 16GB of RAM, a bigger 7-inch screen and battery, and 68W charging. The Razr+ has 2x optical zoom, which the Ultra does not.

A refurbished phone has had a previous owner. It is tested, cleaned and graded on how it looks, and it costs less than new. The grade only describes cosmetic wear. Every grade is fully working.
How much storage do I need?
128GB suits most people. The Moto G Play, Moto G 5G, G Power and G Stylus take a microSD card up to 1TB, so you can add storage later. The Edge and Razr phones do not, so pick your storage up front.
Will it work with my carrier?
Yes. Every phone is unlocked and works with any Canadian carrier. Insert your SIM card or set up an eSIM and keep your current plan.
Want updates for longer? Every Pixel 8 and newer gets 7 years, and the Galaxy A26 and A56 get 6 OS upgrades.
