Questions buyers ask
Which Pixel is best value refurbished?
For most people, the Pixel 8: 7 years of updates, a 120Hz screen and Face Unlock for payments, for much less than newer models.
Which Pixels get 7 years of updates?
The Pixel 8 series and newer, including the a-series models and the 9 Pro Fold and newer folds. The Pixel 7 series gets security updates to 2027 or 2028, and the Pixel 6a to July 2027.
Which Pixels have a telephoto camera?
Every Pro model from the Pixel 6 Pro on, every Pixel Fold, and the Pixel 10 and Pixel 11.
Which Pixels support Face Unlock for payments?
The Pixel 8 series and newer main models. On the Pixel 7 series it only unlocks the phone, and the Pixel 6 series has no Face Unlock.
Is it safe to buy a refurbished phone?
Yes, when the seller tests every phone and backs it with a warranty. Every refurbished phone we sell is fully working, unlocked, covered by a warranty of 90 days to 1 year, depending on grade, and returnable within 14 days. See our promise for how we check each one.
What battery health will I get?
At least 80% on every refurbished phone. We measure battery capacity before a phone is listed, and phones below 80% get a new battery first.
Refurbished or new: what is the difference?
A refurbished phone has had a previous owner. It is tested, cleaned and graded on how it looks, and it costs less than new. The grade only describes cosmetic wear. Every grade is fully working.
How much storage do I need?
128GB suits most people. Choose 256GB or more if you shoot a lot of video, play big games or keep your photos on the phone. None of these phones has a microSD slot, so pick your storage up front.
Will it work with my carrier?
Yes. Every phone is unlocked and works with any Canadian carrier. Insert your SIM card or set up an eSIM and keep your current plan.
