How to get your Google Pixel Fold ready to sell

  1. Back it up, so you keep your photos, messages and files.
  2. Remove your Google account. Go to Settings, then Passwords & accounts, tap your account, then Remove account. This turns off Factory Reset Protection.
  3. Erase any eSIM. Go to Settings, then Network & internet, then Mobile network, pick the eSIM, then Erase eSIM.
  4. Erase it. Go to Settings, then System, then Reset options, then Erase all data (factory reset).
  5. Take out your SIM card.
  6. Pay off any balance on a financing plan before you send it.
