How to get your Samsung Galaxy S25+ ready to sell

1. Back it up, so you keep your photos, messages and files.
2. Remove your Google account. Go to Settings, then Accounts and backup, then Manage accounts. Tap your Google account, then Remove account. This turns off Factory Reset Protection.
3. Sign out of your Samsung account. In the same place, tap your Samsung account, then Remove account, then Sign out. This also turns off Find My Mobile.
4. Erase it. Go to Settings, then General management, then Reset, then Factory data reset, then Reset, then Delete all.
5. Take out your SIM card and any microSD card, since a reset does not erase the memory card. Remove any eSIM in Settings, then Connections, then SIM manager.
6. Pay off any balance on a financing plan before you send it.
