Motherboard & Micro-Soldering Repair
Start diagnosisThe problem
When a phone won't turn on, won't charge, shows no image, or restarts in a loop, and a new screen or battery doesn't fix it, the fault is usually on the logic board: a failed chip, a broken connector, a cracked solder joint, or a short circuit.
Most shops replace the whole board or tell you it's dead. Micro-soldering fixes the actual faulty component instead.
Our process
- Inspect: visual check under the microscope for corrosion, damage and previous repairs.
- Measure: power-on current, voltage lines and shorts with a bench power supply and meter.
- Find the fault: trace it to the failed part or connection.
- Firm quote: you get an exact price and approve it before we start.
- Repair and test: replace or reflow the component, then full function test.
What we can and can't do
Usually fixable
- Charging chip and connector faults
- Backlight and display connector damage
- Shorted power lines
- Audio chip issues
- Boot loops caused by hardware
Hard or not possible
- CPU or storage chip failures (data recovery may still be possible)
- Boards snapped in half
- Severe corrosion across many layers
- Parts locked to the original board (Face ID, Touch ID) that are damaged
Realistic timelines
Diagnosis usually takes 2 to 4 business days after arrival. Most board repairs take another 2 to 5 business days once you approve the quote. Complex faults can take longer; we'll tell you upfront.
