Honest odds by situation

| Won't turn on after a drop or wear | Often good. Many are power or charging faults that can be repaired. |
| Water damage, shipped within days | Fair to good, depending on corrosion. |
| Water damage, weeks or months old | Lower. Corrosion may have destroyed key parts. |
| Storage or CPU chip failed | Poor on modern phones. Data is encrypted to the original chips. |
| Forgotten passcode or factory reset | Not possible. Modern phones are encrypted; we can't and won't bypass security. |
These are general expectations from the type of fault, not promises. Your firm quote will include our honest view of your device.
Our process
- Diagnose the fault without touching your data.
- Quote the repair needed to bring the phone back to life.
- Repair just enough to boot it, then copy your data to a secure drive.
- Return your data on a drive or via secure download, plus your device.
What we do and don't touch
- We copy only what you ask for (usually photos, videos, contacts).
- We don't browse, open or review your files beyond confirming they copied.
- We never bypass passcodes, encryption or account locks. You'll need your passcode to unlock the recovered phone.
Data privacy
Recovered data is stored encrypted on an offline drive and deleted from our systems 30 days after you confirm you have it. Only the technician on your job has access. We never sell, share or keep your data.
Realistic timelines
Diagnosis in 2 to 4 business days after arrival. Recovery usually 3 to 7 business days after you approve.
